The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is an award winning single malt scotch whisky. It captures the distinct, smooth, fruity taste that its founder first envisioned. It's a classic single malt style of whisky but with an innovative contemporary fresh taste.

It starts with a skillful selection of casks that enhances the signature fruity flavours of The Glenlivet. The traditional oak casks are complemented by selective use of American first-fill casks to give a hint of creamy sweetness - creating an exceptionally well-balanced and smooth malt.

Sold with its signature blue gift box, making this the perfect whisky to celebrate a special occasion.

Serving suggestion: Drink to your own preference, straight up or with a drop of water to open the creamy and intensely smooth character. When serving with ice, large cubes are recommended to allow slow dilution releasing the creamy, sweet characters.

Exemplifying our family's tradition of innovation, our 15 Year Old expression is created using an unusual technique pioneered by our Malt Master. Its flavours are mellowed with the warm spice, honey and rich fruit characteristics of the Solera vat, inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. This is after being aged in European oak sherry casks and new oak casks.

The heart and soul of Highland Park. Aged for 12 years in oak casks and using the unique spring water of the island of Orkney. Intensely malty and fresh at first, and then the lingering smoky depth adds weight, fabulous bitter-sweet balance which pans out on the sweet side with a gentle build-up of honey. At Highland Park, we honour the spirit of our Viking ancestors, sharing their pride, integrity and fierce independence, and we distill our award-winning whisky to the same exacting standards introduced in 1798 by our founder, Magnus Eunson, a descendant of those early Viking settlers.

In 1843, William Matheson founded the Glenmorangie Distillery, in the Scottish Highlands. Inspired by his peaceful surroundings, he created a single malt whisky of unique complexity and exceptional smoothness. To this day, we celebrate Glenmorangie's provenance in our signet icon. Its intricate patterns echo the beauty of our homeland's ancient Cadboll Stone, skilfully carved from the landscape so long ago.

Tallest Stills in Scotland

In pursuit of the exceptional, we distill Glenmorangie's spirit in Scotland's tallest stills. Their long copper necks allow only the very finest vapours to rise to the top. The result is a wonderfully pure and fragrant spirit, bursting with fruity floral complexity.

Casks Used Only Twice

Our refined spirit matures for at least ten years in carefully selected ex-bourbon oak casks, to create a deliciously smooth and rounded whisky. Although some other distilleries may fill casks many times, we only ever use ours twice. And so, we ensure their fullest depths of flavour enrich our single malt.

A Whisky of Renown

This award-winning single malt delights with a nose of mandarin, lemon and peach softened by vanilla, alongside herbal and floral notes. Our Twelve Years Old is matured next to the sea exclusively in fine American oak ex-bourbon casks. Flickering from amber to gold and copper on the eye, subtly intense waves of fresh brine, toffee and salty sea air recollect the Caithness coastline, with honey, vanilla and spicy fruit washing across the palette in a faintly salty, long-lasting finish.

Originating from Spain, the sherry casks selected to finesse this single malt scotch whisky provide the signature notes of raisin, vanilla and orange. A perfect complement to the sweet, mellow and smooth taste of Tamnavulin

Tasting Notes

Matured in American oak barrels and finessed by three different types of sherry cask to complement the sweet, mellow flavour of Tamnavulin.

Colour - Amber Gold.

Nose - Aromatic with enticing aromas of vanilla, caramel, banana and milk chocolate with a hint of fresh ginger.

Palate - Warm, sweet flavours of maple syrup, raisin and orange with subtle notes of apricot and melon.

Finish - Rich and smooth - a classic Speyside malt.

This Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Loch Indaal in premium American oak casks, it is a testament to the quality of Bruichladdich's ingredients.

The result of natural alchemy and ancient craftsmanship, The Balvenie is unlike any other single malt. Our whisky making process is focused on preserving five skills. We are the only distillery in Scotland that still grows its own barley, uses traditional malting floors, and employs an onsite boilermaker and coopering team. Of course, our Master of Wine David C. Stewart (Member of the Order of the British Empire) oversees the all-important maturation process. All of these elements contribute to making The Balvenie the most artisanal single malt in its conception.

The Ardbeg Distillery lies on the most southerly part of Islay and on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Islay is an antique land. Where Celtic monks found refuge raiding Norsemen and early distillers smuggled their illicit 'aquavitae' at Ardbeg's rocky cove. Where the Lords of the Isles ruled much of Scotland between the 12th and 15th centuries - the clan kings whose bloodline continued through the Macdougalls of Ardbeg, the founders of our great and noble whisky. Islay's history is Ardbeg's heritage. The island's past lives in our present.

Ardbeg is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex whisky of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather the peat gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly intrudes, producing perfect balance. The unusual spirit still with its purifier, the only one of its kinds on Islay, is what many believe contributes to this balance and complexity, making Ardbeg the malt to which all others aspire ....truly the Ultimate Islay Malt.

Typically most whiskies are chill-filtered and reduced to a strength of 40% abv. Ardbeg 10 years old, however, is non chill-filtered and has a strength of 46% abv, thus retaining maximum flavour, at the same time giving more body and added depth. On adding water a little cloudiness may occur which is perfectly natural and is not a matter for concern.

Oban is one of Scotland's oldest and smallest distilleries. It was founded in 1794 and the West Highland port town of the same name has grown around the distillery. It is the one Single Malt Scotch Whisky in which the rich, complex flavours of the Highlands meet and mingle with the peaty, maritime character of the Islands. Balancing autumn fruits and sea air, Oban whisky owes its rich and rewarding Highland character to its very long fermentation process. The tiny lamp glass-shaped copper pot stills that make Oban's Scotch are among the smallest in Scotland, and the liquor they distil is slowly condensed in wooden worm tubs outside among the rooftops, exposed to the salted sea air, bringing a distinct depth of flavour said to go very well with salted caramel. Oban 14 Year Old is a superb combination of rich sweetness and smoky dryness with fruity notes of oranges, pears and dried figs, plus hints of sea-salt and peat smoke notes. It works well as an accompaniment to seafood like oysters or smoked salmon, giving them new depths of flavour.

Triple distilled and matured solely in American bourbon casks. The result: a Lowland Single Malt Whisky with the sweet aromas of vanilla and coconut – along with the signature smooth, delicate, Auchentoshan taste.

Like all Auchentoshan whisky, American Oak is a really versatile Single Malt. It works wonders as an Auchentoshan & Ale, is happy to stand on its own neat or over ice but also shakes up some classic cocktails that you might not think work with Single Malt whisky.
