Brewed by Van Honesbrouck from Ingelmunster in Belgium, these beers are based on 'Bacchus' their famed red style beer within the local region. Light and refreshing with a spritzy tartness. Raspberry fruit is added to give an intensely fruity beer. Bottles are paper wrapped and in half champagne bottles.

Slightly golden colour, extraordinary white head. Thanks to the sourness of the passionfruit, this beer is an excellent thirst-quencher during summer. And because of the freshness, this low-alcohol beer can also be served as an aperitif

Bouquets of ripe orchard fruit, tangerine, lemon and grapefruit freshen the palate delivering a fresh sensation. Notes of brioche and dried fruit add a touch of maturity. On the palate, a beautiful mineral crispness is accompanied by subtle floral and fruity notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo.

This Trappist beer finds its origins in the pre-war bottled beer destined for the sick and infirm. But further back, 1899 was the year that first saw the monks of Saint-Remy in Rochefort light the fire under their kettles, in their new, small brewery. The beer they brewed then was a precursor of today's Rochefort 6.

Sales were modest to begin with, disrupted as they were by two World Wars. Those wars also shaped those early beers – the occupier decreed that beers should not have a density higher than 0.8°. But an exception was made for those beers intended for the sick. They could go as high as 5°.

So Rochefort 6 started out as a beer designed for 'medicinal purposes' only, attaining its present form with a little help from fellow Trappists. After the Second World War, when Rochefort was suffering from Chimay’s success, the 'confrères' of Chimay agreed to lend Rochefort a helping hand. The first fruit of that cooperation – and the oldest member of the Rochefort family – is the Rochefort 6. It was introduced to the market in 1953.

This fine brew, topped off by a red-bottle cap, is only produced for a few weeks every year. It is predominantly served in the abbey’s guest quarters. Of the members of Rochefort trio, this is the mildest and driest variety. The Rochefort 6 certainly has character, but it is less rich and complex than that of its two brothers. A mild and fruity beer, it is slightly herbal, malty and sweet, with a touch of caramel. The quiet bitterness it has only becomes apparent in the finish.

This classic Belgian Trappist beer is a dubbel-style ale with huge depth of flavour. It has lots of banana-like aromas, as well as plenty of dark fruit notes from the big, smooth malt base. You can expect fig, dates, raisins and even a little coffee on the palate of this complex and warming dark ale.

Lager’s answer to IPA! This India Pale Lager has a biscuity base of Pils and Vienna malt with a touch of light crystal malt, then dry-hopped - peachy and piney, this is modern lager at its best!

Tynt Meadow is mahogany-coloured, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavours. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate. Tynt Meadow is brewed with English barley and hops, using an English strain of yeast. It is twice-fermented, with the first fermentation taking place in the tank, and the second in the bottle. It should be stored in a cool, dark, quiet place.
