Description
This is Viña Errázuriz’s flagship wine, named in honor of Don Maximiano Errázuriz, who created the winery in 1870 in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley.
Very intense ruby red, almost purple. Enormously inviting, excellently perfumed nose of cassis and blackberries, combined with chocolate soufflée and mocha, also a hint of eucalyptus. Voluminous on the palate, of concentrated, blackberry fruit, now also blueberries and dried figs, some cedar wood; the pleasant acidity gives in freshness and balances the structure well, great fruit pressure to the enormously long finale, characterised by a lot of elegance
