The wines in the Invivo X, SJP collection are made to a unique blend created by Sarah Jessica Parker and New Zealand winemakers Invivo. Combine New York sass, the world’s best wine regions and New Zealand winemaking know-how and they have a recipe for something very special!
Featuring a delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand, and pretty pale-pink Rosé from France, the wines pair well with great food and conversations, evenings in with girlfriends, date night meals with your partner and a night-in with a good book.
Invivo X, SJP is renowned for taste and quality, having clocked up many accolades since its launch in 2019, including 92 points by Wine Spectator and 90 points by James Suckling.
The collaboration between the New York-based icon SJP and Kiwi innovators Invivo covers every aspect of the wine, from naming and label design to the winemaking itself. Sarah Jessica was hugely instrumental in naming the wine and in designing the label and the X and the comma directly after it are an intentional and a personal touch, referencing her signature email and Instagram post signoff: “X, SJ.” Sarah Jessica also hand painted the X on the original label.
SJP is hands on with tasting and creating each new vintage of the wines, with Invivo Cofounders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron travelling to New York to blend them with her, so the wines represent the flavor profile that SJP likes to drink herself and enjoy with friends.
The Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of five estates in Marlborough, New Zealand, spanning both the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. It has aromas of lifted, ripe tropical fruit with a delicate oak influence that gives a lovely soft texture on the palate, inspired by SJP’s love of chardonnay. The finish is long, juicy and delicious.
The wine is incredibly versatile and food-friendly, but pairs perfectly with oysters, casseroles Chinese food, cheeses, baked or smoked salmon, prawns and lighter foods like pizza.
The Invivo X, SJP Rosé is pale pink in color, sitting well within the classic French “pale and dry” spectrum. The nose is lifted and expressive with perfumed aromas of pink florals, red berries, subtle herb, and minerals. The palate is fresh, vibrant, and fruitful with savory notes delivering a fine, even, long finish of strawberries, rose petal and fresh herbs.
Enjoy a glass perfectly chilled as an aperitif with olives or chips. Its style goes with all manner of foods, from fish, salads and goat cheese and fries – or frites as the French call them! Best enjoyed on a warm summer’s day or chilled on the weekend with friends.
