MISO BLACK COD
Not sure what to make for dinner tonight? Then you need to try this Miso Black Cod and quick cucumber salad, it’s incredibly easy since the black cod is already marinated in a rich miso glaze. This dish is effortless and so quick to prepare but looks incredibly impressive on the plate.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 2
• 1 Cucumber thinly sliced
• 1 Clove of Garlic, grated
• 1 Tsp Chilli Oil
• 1 Tsp Sesame oil
• 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
• 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
• 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
• 1 Tsp Honey
• 25g Fresh Coriander, finely chopped
• 2 Portions of Marinated Wild Miso Black Cod approx 140g each
STEPS

Preheat grill fan oven to high.

Combine cucumber, garlic, oils, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame seeds, honey and coriander in a bowl. Set aside.

Place defrosted cod on a foil-lined baking tray.

Grill for 6-8 minutes on the upper shelf of the oven, until slightly charred and golden.

Serve the cod with cucumber salad and steamed rice for a deliciously balanced meal.

Tip: If using frozen fish, make sure to defrost overnight in the fridge. You can easily prepare the cucumber salad ahead of time and just add the coriander right before serving.
