This limited-edition wine is a tribute to John Devoy (1842-1928), who was convicted of treason in Ireland and sent to prison. After serving his life sentence, he was exiled in 1871 and forced to start a new life in America. There, Devoy became the mastermind behind the Catalpa rescue, freeing six fellow Irish prisoners. This wine represents a celebration of the most outrageous prison escapes in Australian history.
