Blue Bell Ice Cream
In the warm Texan summer of 1907, a handful of Brenham, TX, businessmen opened the Brenham Creamery Company. The creamery originally made butter using leftover cream from local farmers, but began dabbling in ice cream in 1911, delivering the treat to neighbors by horse and wagon. In 1930, the creamery was renamed Blue Bell Creameries, inspired by the native Texas bluebell wildflower. Though a lot has changed since 1907, the quality and care that goes into making Blue Bell products remains the same. And now, you can get these products delivered in minutes from Gopuff Dallas. While experimenting in their home kitchen, Poppi co-founders Allison and Stephen mixed fresh fruit juice with apple cider vinegar, creating a soda that’s both delicious and packed with healthy prebiotics. After bottling it and selling it at farmers’ markets, the husband-and-wife duo secured a Shark Tank investment that they used to create the brand Texans know and love today. Order from Gopuff here.
Halo del Santo
In 2010, brothers Matt and Scott Hackler traveled the Mexican state of Jalisco to enjoy everything the region had to offer—including tequila, of course. After sipping a margarita rimmed with a delicious combination of salt, chile and lime, the brothers decided to make their own all-natural margarita salt blend using the same mouthwatering ingredients. The result? Halo del Santo. This spicy, salty and sour concoction is perfect with a variety of cocktails, and it’s available for delivery in Dallas with Gopuff.
