Gopuff fulfills its $1 Million Health Care Support Initiative commitment

In March of 2020, Gopuff launched its $1 million Health Care Support Initiative to support health care and hospital workers on the frontlines of the pandemic. Over the past several months, we’ve donated order credits to hospital workers, held a rally for health care workers and more. As the last phase of this initiative, we’re proud to support so many local organizations that have been a pillar of strength for their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most recently, Gopuff donated $300,000 to local health care organizations working on the frontlines of COVID-19 across the nation:

• Banner Health Foundation in Phoenix, AZ

• Denver Health Foundation in Denver, CO

• Emory COVID-19 Impact Fund in Atlanta, GA 

• Family Health Centers of San Diego, CA

• Hope Mission Center in Miami, FL

• Houston Professional Firefighters Association in Houston, TX

• Mission Language and Vocational School & SF Latino Task Force in San Francisco, CA

• Philadelphia Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium in Philadelphia, PA

• Philadelphia FIGHT in Philadelphia, PA

• Rush University Medical Center COVID-19 Response Fund in Chicago, IL

• Upham’s Corner Health Center in Boston, MA

• Valley Youth House in Philadelphia, PA

Gopuff made a $50,000 donation to the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium, a local Philadelphia organization focused on educating and advocating for African Americans to reduce the incidence of disease and death from coronavirus. The organization has helped thousands get tested for COVID-19 and is now also offering free vaccines.

Gopuff made a $15,000 donation to the Banner Health Foundation, a local Phoenix organization that secures and stewards charitable contributions to invest in facilities and programs that support advancements in care, research, health education, patient services and a variety of community programs.

Gopuff is proud to support these essential organizations who have been serving us in the past year of the pandemic, and to have fulfilled our commitment of $1 million to help those fighting COVID-19.
