Since its founding in 1817, the Bitburger Brewery has been fully dedicated to the quality and taste of their products. Founded in 1817 in the town of Bitburg in the Eifel region of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Bitburger is a German family business with around 1,700 employees. Through seven generations, the family continues to rely on quality, innovation and their passion for brewing to achieve continued steady growth year over year. Each year, they produce around 750 million liters of beer and alcohol-free beverages. In 1992, Bitburger became the number one draught beer in Germany, and it still holds that position today.
