The result is a Bourbon that is smooth, rich and easy to enjoy. Evan Williams is medium amber in color and has aromas of vanilla and mint with a taste of oak, brown sugar, and caramel. Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch honors the year that Evan Williams founded Kentucky’s First Distillery. This small batch Bourbon is pulled from less than 200 barrels. It’s extra-aged, bottled at 90 proof and uses the same sour mash process and traditional recipe made popular by our namesake, Evan Williams Black Label. Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch shares in the heritage of Evan Williams Black Label, which is the second largest selling brand of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in the U.S., as both are named after Kentucky's first distiller. Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch is a brilliant honey color with aromas of oaky vanilla, sauteed butter, and sweet corn with a taste that's semi-sweet, oaky, and honeyed with a lean, off-dry, and regal finish. Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond is the product of one season, one distiller, and one distillery. Our Kentucky Straight Bourbon is full of character and simply done right. Our Bottled-In-Bond Bourbon is 100 proof and follows the exacting standards of a Bottled-In-Bond product; aged for four years, distilled in one distilling season at one distillery and under U.S. government supervision. Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond is bright gold in color. It has aromas of caramel with hints of vanilla, oak and barley with a taste of citrus on top of vanilla and black pepper notes. In 2022 Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond received a Gold and Consumers' Choice SIP Award, a 90 and Great Value rating from the Ultimate Spirits Competition, a Gold medal from the TAG Global Spirits Awards, from John Barleycorn, and from the International Wine and Spirits Competition. In the same year, it also won a Platinum medal from the ASCOT awards.
