A new Elk Cove value-line brand, Pike Road takes its name from the winding, two-lane country road that parallels Yamhill County’s northwestern side of the Willamette Valley and that accesses Elk Cove’s younger estate vineyard sites. Fruit for Pike Road is sourced primarily from their younger vines and is supplemented by fruit from a few additional trusted grower friends. The brand serves a dual purpose. It enables the Elk Cove label to be 100% estate-grown from the production of old and mature vines and allows the Campbells to offer 100% Willamette Valley grown quality wines at bargain pricing.
