The history of House of Suntory is the history of our founder Shinjiro Torii. In 1923, our founder, Shinjiro Torii, envisioned a whisky filled with the essence of Japanese nature and hand-crafted by artisans through a patient process of enhancing the work of nature. He ultimately created subtle, refined, yet complex whisky to suit the delicate palate of the Japanese people. Later our artisans added Roku Gin, Haku Vodka, and a wide array of special whiskies. Our quintessentially Japanese spirits are crafted with a relentless pursuit of perfection, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
