Crush the packet of Doritos and add to a bowl alongside the ground beef, white onion, black pepper, garlic powder, oregano, paprika powder and 1 Worcestershire sauce.
Mix it all together and then add tomato passata, mixing it again until the mixture is well combined. Start making balls with your hands to form firm meatballs.
Spray a little bit of non-stick cooking spray on your baking tray and place your meatballs on a tray.
Bake it for about 20 minutes and then remove from the oven and set aside.
While the meatballs are cooking, make the Spicy Pasta Pomodoro: Heat olive oil over medium heat in a pan and add the onion. Cook until soft.
Stir in the garlic, chillies and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
Next, add cherry tomatoes to the pot carefully and break up with a wooden spoon. Cook for 4 minutes until they are soft and juicy.
Then, add the tinned tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Crush the tomatoes with the wooden spoon after cooking for 5 minutes.
While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to boil and add the pasta. Cook the pasta for 8 minutes and save 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Now bring it all together; Add the pasta & pasta water to the sauce and mix to combine.
Add in basil, parmesan cheese and butter. Toss until the butter and cheese are melted and until the sauce coats the pasta.
Plate your pasta, top with your meatballs, garnish with Doritos crumbs and Parmesan.
