Don Gato Reposado is an award-winning tequila from the lowlands of Jalisco, made clean with 100% Blue Weber agave and no BS, by the legendary luchador himself*. Aged for two months in ex-bourbon barrels, it delivers a confident, balanced expression that lets the agave lead. On the nose, it comes out swinging with golden raisin, Madagascar vanilla, lemon peel, and tart green apple. The finish follows with smooth butterscotch, gentle bourbon oak, cracked peppercorn, and black tea, and the faint echoes of applause that might be a standing ovation. Don Gato Reposado earned Best in Show with a commanding 95-point score at the New York World Spirits Competition and was named one of 2025’s Top New Tequilas Under $60 by Bottle Raiders. *Who is Don Gato? Don Gato was a prominent Mexican luchador with a deep love for the fight, cats and tequila. After retiring from the ring, he moved to a remote estate near Guadalajara where he pursued his non-feline passion: distilling amazing tequila. Lifelong Don Gato fan Danny McBride spent significant time in Mexico documenting the legend's story, leading to a series of "tequila sagas" that showcase Don Gato’s passions, tequila artistry, and random party acumen.
